Hi, I am Whitney Oliver.

I’m a mom to two busy little ones and wife to my wonderful husband, Micheal. By day, I serve as a full-time lecturer in the College of Public Health at East Tennessee State University, where I also coordinate our Health Administration program. I hold a Master’s in Business Administration, which has been invaluable in supporting my small business journey.

By evening, you’ll usually find me behind my camera. I’m especially drawn to the magic of golden hour, those moments just after sunrise and before sunset when the light turns soft, warm, and dreamy. It’s my absolute favorite time to shoot. When I’m not outdoors, I’m working in my Elizabethton studio, a creative space I share with two other talented local photographers. With 12 years of experience behind the lens, photography continues to be one of my greatest passions.

I love connecting with my clients and capturing genuine, heartfelt emotion. I’m also a proud dog mom to Remi, Khloei, Asher, Spencer, and Marlee, and I’m always thrilled when clients bring their furry family members along—dogs are always welcome! Outside of photography, you can often find me coaching youth cheerleading from the sidelines.

I wear many titles that I cherish deeply, but above all, my truest identity is found in being a child of our Lord and Savior.

Testimonials

““Whitney is absolutely amazing. She has so much patience and truly loves what she does. My son is always on the move, yet she consistently captures the most beautiful moments. After his recent autism diagnosis, the photos she took meant more to us than words can say — they perfectly captured his sweet personality. We are so grateful for her.””

““These pictures are absolutely amazing! Seeing them on the computer compared to my phone was a whole different experience. I had one special request — capturing my husband’s reaction when he saw me for the first time — and she nailed it. I will cherish these photos forever.””
